According to the Hindu belief, Chardham is the four most important Hindu religious sites in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state, India. Yamunotri, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Kedarnath are collectively known as Chardham. Chardhams are the sacred temples dedicated to lord Vishnu and lord Shiva.
Due to the significance of this spiritual footpath, believers from all regions of India and the whole world, love to visit here to experience the never-ending pleasure. Chardham are momentum and severe with activity in the time of the summer months in India, as 1000s of believers embark upon the sanctified route. The attractive surroundings of the hilly area is just enchanting, giving the Char Dham devotees a perfect event to let all entity go them by rich their lungs with novel air.
In Chardham Yatra believers voyage to 4 Hindu divine spots in Uttarakhand state of India. Blessed Himalayas up in the hreat heights of the remarkable Garhwal Himalayas that prettify the wonderful state of Uttarakhand give a refreshing devout experience for the moral. Those are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath. Sited in the way of outstanding Himalayas, these 4 spots are the major pilgrimage sites of spiritual activity in north-India. The Char Dham Yatra startsfrom Yamunotri, after that going on to Gangotri and to complete to Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Chardham Yatra usually starts from last week of April or first week of May till last week of October or first week of November but the month of April, May and the first half of June have an amusing weather as it marks the pleasant summers in the Char Dham. The rainy season months are not the Best time to visit the Char Dham as June's second half, July and August are prone to rain due to which landslides may occur and this situation is very frequent in the Char Dham region. You can also make your trip plan throughout the month of September, October and the mid of November for some Dhams, as winter starts with the beginning of November in the Himalayas.
Day 01: Haridwar Barkot (210kms/7-8hr) Height: 1352 MTS.
Meet and greet with our assistant at Haridwar and afterwards drive for Barkot. On the way to Barkot, visit to Mussoorie Lake & Kempty Fall in Mussoorie. After that, proceed further for Barkot. On arrival at Barkot, smooth transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 02: Barkot / Yamunotri / Barkot {36kms drive & 6kms Trek (one side)} Height: 3235 MTS.
Early morning after breakfast (packed breakfast), visit to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti and start trek from here to Yamunotri (6kms) (Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost). After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and "Darshan" of "Yamunaji" return to Jankichatti by trek. Afterwards back to Barkot for overnight comfortable stay.
Day 03: Barkot Uttarkashi (100kms/4hr) Height: 1352 MTS.
On this morning after breakfast, proceed for Uttarkashi. After reaching Uttarkashi, check-in to the hotel. Later, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi hotel.
Day 04: Uttarkashi Gangotri Uttarkashi (100kms/3-4 each side) Height: 3048 MTS.
Early morning post breakfast (packed breakfast), leave for Gangotri, enroute of Gangnani take a holy dip in Garam Kund, further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its natural beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees and mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. After Pooja and Darshan, relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 05: Uttarkashi Guptkashi (220kms/8-9hr) Height: 1319 MTS.
On 5th day morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. On the way you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi.Afterwards smooth transfer to the hotel and overnight stay at Guptkaashi Hotel.
Day 06: Guptkashi Kedarnath(30kms by road & 19kms Trek one way) Height: 3384 MTS.
This morning post breakfast, visit to kedarnath. After darshan of Kedarnath Temple, overnight stay at Kedarnath which will fill your mind and thoughts with purity.
By Helicopter: For visit to Kedarnath via Helicopter our driver will transfer you your pre-book Helipad in the morning. For this visit, the flight will be of 5 to 10 minutes (one way). After that our car will drop you at Hotel for rest.
By Trek: Our driver will drop you at Sonprayag in the morning then you have to take local jeep for Gourikund and then your trek starts for kedarnath ji. After darshan you follow the same and return back to Sonprayag. There is big parking issue so driver will be back at any other place if his contact no. is not working then you have to arrange other taxi or wait for your driver and send the massage to any other driver.
Day 07: Kedarnath Guptkashi (30kms by road & 19kms Trek one way) Height: 3384 MTS.
On 7th day's morning, have a breakfast. Then we will return to Guptkashi so that we can easily visit Badrinath next day. After reaching Guptkashi, check in at hotel. Overnight halt at Guptkashi.
This return journey will be either by helicopter or trek (as per your choice).
Day 08: Guptkashi Badrinath (160kms/7hr) Height: 3133 MTS.
On this fresh morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. On arrival in Badrinath, our representative will help you for smooth transfer to the hotel. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund go for the Darshan of Badrivishal and Aarti in evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitras). There are other interesting sightseeing spots like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River.
Day 09: Badrinath Joshimath Rudraprayag (160kms/7hr) Height: 895 MTS.
This day morning will start with breakfast and afterwards move forward for Rudraprayag via Joshimath. On the way, visit Narsingh Temple at Joshimath further drive for Rudraprayag. On the arrival at Rudraprayag, check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag hotel.
Day 10: Rudraprayag Haridwar (165kms/5-6hr)
On this last day morning after breakfast, drive back for Haridwar via Rishikesh. At Rishikesh visit Rishikesh Temples Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla.
